Return Protection is an optional service that makes your Direct Listings purchases returnable. When you add Return Protection to a Direct Listings purchase, you can return the item within 14 days of delivery—even though Direct Listings are typically final sale.

### Coverage Details

*   **Return window**: 14 days from item delivery date
*   **Optional fee**: Added at checkout for eligible items
*   **Seller Coverage:** The seller _may_ choose to cover the fee for extra peace of mind

### Return Process

*   Items with Return Protection are returned directly to ThredUp
*   Returns are processed through ThredUp's standard return system
*   You can combine Direct Listings returns with other returnable ThredUp purchases

### Important Limitations

*   **Non-refundable**: The Return Protection fee itself cannot be refunded
*   **Item condition**: Standard return condition requirements apply
*   **Final sale exception**: Only applies to items where Return Protection was purchased
