# How do I reclaim items?

You may reclaim an accepted item for $5.99 per item (except for ineligible Value Brands) during the final seven days of the item's listing window as long as they're not in another customer's cart or already purchased. Ineligible Value brands may not be reclaimed.

To reclaim an unsold consignment item:   
1. Visit the Clean Outs section of your account  
2. Select the Reclaim option next to any eligible items  
3. Selecting reclaim will automatically add that item to your cart. Proceed to check out to finish reclaiming your item. If the item expires from your cart before it is reclaimed, it will still be eligible for purchase. 

Reclaim items are subject to a $5.99 fee per item along with standard shipping at checkout. You are welcome to combine your reclaim items with a standard or bundled order to earn free shipping if your order meets the free shipping threshold.

Important: 

If you do not reclaim an accepted item before the 7 days expires, the item becomes property of ThredUp.

Rewards redeemed for free shipping will not be applicable towards reclaim orders.

Please note that reclaiming unsold items is a different service than opting to have unaccepted items returned (previously known Return Assurance), which is for unlisted items only.
