Once a return has been processed, the refund method cannot be changed. ThredUp credits provided as a refund for a return cannot be transferred back to the original form of payment. 

If you have not mailed your return yet, and would like to change your return method, please reach out to [Customer Service](https://www.thredup.com/contact). When reaching out, please confirm if you'd like to be refunded to ThredUp credits (free return shipping) or your original form of payment (the $10.99 shipping fee will be deducted from your refund). 

ThredUp credits will be deducted on a first in, first out basis. Therefore, if you have earnings in your account we would encourage cashing out first to ensure your refunded credits are applied toward your next order first. 

After we receive your return, please allow 3 to 5 business days for your return to be processed. Once your return is processed, you'll receive a confirmation email. 

**Why am I not getting refunded for my item?** 

ThredUp only accepts returns for items that are within our 14 day return timeframe and still in their original listing condition. If you returned an item outside of our return timeframe, or if the item you returned is not in its original condition, your return will be canceled and details of the cancellation will be sent to you via email. If you have concerns about your return, please contact [Customer Service](https://www.thredup.com/contact) with your return number and item in question.
